Key strategies to beat the competition in the IBPS PO CWE Online Main Exam

IBPS PO main exam has Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language and General Awareness sections. There is no separate section for ‘Computer Awareness’ as it is clubbed with the Reasoning Ability. Check the syllabus, new exam pattern, duration, important dates and much more from SuccessLynk site. The difficulty level of the questions is expected to be higher than previous year. Hence you need to have strategic preparation to crack the exam. Here are a few strategies to beat the competition in the IBPS PO CWE online main exam.

  • Have a study plan: Start your preparation early. Make a realistic study plan to complete all topics and allot more time to your weak areas. Stick to your plan. Reach your study targets daily, and if possible try to study more than you have planned.
  • Go step by step: Study topic-wise. Prepare short useful notes for each topic. Write down the formulas, shortcuts, tricks and other key points separately. This will save your time in searching notes for quick revision in the end. Focus on the most scoring topics. In Reasoning pay attention to blood relations, seating arrangements, number series, coding decoding, direction, data sufficiency and syllogism. Focus on simple and compound interest, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, number systems, sequence and series and, simplification problems.   • Improve your core skills: You need to be good at your core skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. For this, focus to improve your English grammar. Increase your overall awareness by reading newspapers and magazines and watching News channels. Note down points on GK and current events.
