Many a times, students feel that they have very little time. They have goals to get the best grades, be social, need to take rest and take care of self. In order to increase productivity and lead a balanced life, here are a few tips.
1. Plan ahead: Know the dates of life events and trips and plan your activities accordingly. This habit helps to maintain work/life balance. Group your non-urgent errands and chores together into a few hours and complete them off all at once.
2. Track your time: Planning your personal time becomes easy if you know how you are spending it. Breakdown a major task into small manageable tasks. Allot time slot for each individual task. Know the time when you start and complete the tasks. Eventually you will be able to predict how much time you need to complete a task. It will minimize time wastage. You will get more time to study. Tracking your time is a simple habit helps you in your career too.
3. Set deadlines: After breaking your big task into small manageable tasks, set yourself realistic deadlines to complete those tasks. Try to complete a task before deadline. This way, you can avoid leaving your study to the last minute and maximize your study productivity.
If you’re continually working towards your goals, you’ll always be improving, which in itself is a huge achievement. All the best!
